STURGIS, S.D. – The South Dakota Highway Patrol and area law enforcement are reporting several accidents along the I-90 corridor between Spearfish and Rapid City.
Black ice on the highway is being reported, resulting in accidents and vehicles sliding off the roadway.
One accident is reported to be in the eastbound lane east of mile marker 34 on I-90. That is near the Black Hills National Cemetery. Spearfish Emergency Alert Facebook Page also reports an accident near Exit 14 outside Spearfish.
Travelers are reporting multiple vehicles sliding off the roadway as well.
Law enforcement is encouraging drivers to slow down if traveling along I-90 between Spearfish and Rapid City.
