Board election for newly formed Ambulance District is June 30

STURGIS, S.D. – Rural Sturgis residents who will be served by the newly established ambulance district will vote June 30 on who will serve on the board that sets up the district.

There are eight candidates running for five seats available.

They are Terri Jo Bruch, Richard Armstrong, Mark Bruch, Scott Hymans, Britton Blair, Edward Miller, Rebecca Porter-Watson and Nicole Scouge.

Voting for the district will take place at the Meade County Auditor’s Election Room at 1300 Sherman Street in Sturgis or Residents may also vote absentee.

Saturday, during our noon news, we will hear from the candidates.
