RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City police are investigating a body found in a culvert on North LaCrosse Street Monday.
Police say the body was found in a culvert that runs under N. LaCrosse, between Van Buren and Waterloo Streets.
Investigators are treating the incident as an unattended death. An autopsy will be performed to help police develop an understanding of the circumstances surrounding the person’s death.
The body was discovered during a routine check of the culvert and police used a camera to confirm the body.
