PIERRE, S.D. – Pierre captured their home invitational golf tournament Tuesday, scoring the low score of 273.

Watertown was second with a 276 and Brandon Valley placed third with a 291. Top placing West River team was Spearfish in 6th place with a 311. Sturgis finished in 13th with a 338.

Winning individual medalist honors was Sawyer Sonnenschein of Pierre with a 64. Kaden Rylance of Watertown was second with a 65 and Pierre’s Luke Olson was third with a 68.

Top placing area athlete was Rapid City Central’s Ben Gibson in 12th.
