STURGIS, S.D. – Burglars have hit a Sturgis gun store for the second time in just a little over a month.
The owners of Sturgis Guns reported the burglary early Sunday morning. In a Facebook post, Sturgis Guns says the incident happened around 4:21 a.m.
Sturgis Police Chieg Geody VanDewater said Monday that 9 rifles, a BB gun and a scope were all taken. He says the suspects broke out a side window to gain entry into the business.
Video surveillance captured images of what appears to be 4 subjects.
A reward was being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever was responsible for the first break-in on November 1st.
In their Facebook post, Sturgis Guns owners say they plan to put bars on their replacement windows. They had already done that with the door — which was how the burglers entered in the first burglary.
