RAPID CITY, S.D. – Canyon Lake rolled over Sioux Falls 12-2 Sunday to win the South Dakota Little League Championship game.
The All-Stars used strong pitching and timely hitting to capture their ninth title since 2003.
Keaton Rhoads helped lead Canyon Lake with two hits and two R.B.I.’s.
Brody Lee got the pitching win, working all five innings and striking out four batters.
In the third place game, Pierre beat Harney 15 to 12.
In the consolation games, Timberline downed Sturgis 18-8 and Rushmore defeated Belle Fourche 5-1.
