Cavalier Volleyball Squad Hands Scoopers Seventh Straight Loss

STURGIS, SD – The St. Thomas More Cavaliers beat the Sturgis Scoopers in four sets on Tuesday night at West Gym, keeping Sturgis winless on the volleyball season.

The Scoopers took set one, 25-18, then the Cavs won three in a row: 25-16, 26-24 and 25-18. The loss drops Sturgis to 0-7 on the season.

Enna Henry finished with 27 assists and two kills for the Cavaliers. Madison Boyum added nine kills for STM, who improves to 4-4 on the season. 

Avery Fogelman contributed 10 assists and two aces for Sturgis,  with Tori Williams chipping in 11 assists and three kills. The Scooper volleyball team is in action next on Saturday at 2pm as they host Red Cloud at West Gym.
