Cindy Lee Davidson, age 57, of Sioux Center, Iowa, formerly of Kadoka, died on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the Sanford Medical Center in Sheldon, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, at the Kadoka Bible Church in Kadoka.
Visitation will be two hours preceding the services at the church.
Interment will be at the Kadoka Cemetery.
Cindy Lee Eisenbraun was born January 16, 1967, in Kadoka, South Dakota, the youngest of three children born to Vernon “Mike” and Johnita (Kukal) Eisenbraun. She grew up and received her education in Kadoka, graduating from Kadoka High School in 1985.
Cindy was united in marriage to Ronald D. Davidson on April 21, 1990 in Elko, Nevada. After their marriage they made their home in Garden City, Idaho and worked in Boise at First Security Bank which later became Wells Fargo, where she worked in auto and title loans. She later went to school to become a nail technician. In September 2021, Ron and Cindy moved to Sioux Center, Iowa, where she was Ron’s primary care giver.
They enjoyed the mountain air, hunting, fishing, camping, and their dogs Choco and Missy. Cindy also enjoyed sewing, flowers, and crafts.
Survivors include her husband Ron and their mutt Bella; her mother Johnita Stapleton of Sioux Center; her sister Debbie (Don Carley) Eisenbraun of Sioux Center; one brother Michael Eisenbraun (Holly) of DeBeque, Colorado; five nieces and nephews Chaney (Kelly) Boomer, Bobby (Kayla) Paulson, Laci (Scott) Varilek, Amanda (TJ) Meza, and Kendra (Collin)Dalley; several great-nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father Vernon “Mike” Eisenbraun; her step-father George “Phil” Stapleton; her father-in-law Leroy Davidson; and her mother-in-law Marguerite Drabek.
Arrangements are with Rush Funeral Home of Kadoka.
