STURGIS, S.D. – Sturgis Mayor Mark Carstensen is proud to announce that the City of Sturgis has partnered with Dixxon Flannel Co. to be an official sponsor of the City of Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
Dixxon was established in 2013 with the goal of creating the world’s best flannel.
Growing up around motorcycles, skateboards and hardcore/punk music, flannels have always been a staple in the closet of Dixxon founder Danny Dreyer.
Danny said that like everyone else, he was tired of shirts not fitting well and then wrinkling, shrinking and fading after the first wash. “We started with flannels, but tackle every other product with the same approach – classics redefined,” he said.
Dixxon’s Sturgis showroom will be in the historic Bank Building at the corner of First and Main Streets.
“We’re thrilled to have Dixxon come to Sturgis,” Mayor Carstensen said. “They will be a great addition to our business community.”
Headquartered in Tempe, AZ, Dixxon’s mantra is “Work Hard. Stay Humble.”
Their flannel’s signature D-Tech proprietary fabric does not wrinkle, shrink or fade. They are designed with a longer body and sleeve length than other shirts on the market, which is a must have for those who ride.
“We were founded with the mindset to serve the working class with clothing that is durability and style focused with an emphasis on affordability and ultimately value. Quality is our motto,” Dreyer said.
In addition to flannels, Dixxon’s product line includes men’s, women’s, youth and pet apparel, with bamboo shirts, tees, shorts, pants, swimwear, boxer shorts, socks, dog hoodies, leashes, and some special homeware items.
