City of Sturgis taking applications for non-profit groups to man rally photo tower

STURGIS, S.D. – The city of Sturgis is giving area non-profit and youth groups an opportunity to make some cash during this year’s Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

The city is inviting groups to staff the Main Street photo tower during this year’s rally.

Groups will be able to keep all the admissions collected from the tower during their respective workdays. Groups are also encouraged to display information about the group.

A minimum of two people will be required to be present at all times when the tower is open and at least one person must be at least 18 years old.

Groups will be scheduled for one day each during the event.

Towers are open from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. August 8th through the 14th. The tower booth has electricity and is air-conditioned.

Interested groups can submit an online application by visiting Sturgis-sd.gov or by calling Sturgis City Hall at 347-4422.

Application deadline is June 4th.
