SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Black Hills State men’s basketball wrapped up an impressive weekend with a 69-61 victory over Westminster, handing the Griffins their first conference loss of the season.
The Yellow Jackets (6-3, 4-0 RMAC) continue to play well in league action as the team is off to it’s best start to conference play since joining the RMAC in the 2012-13 season.
Sindou Cisse and Sava Dukic each scored 21 points to lead the offense.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Black Hills State women’s basketball fell to the Westminster Griffins Saturday night 85-49.
The loss brings the Yellow Jackets to 4-6 on the season and 2-2 in RMAC play.
Leading the Yellow Jackets offensively was Kammie Ragsdale who recorded a season high nine points.
In other college basketball action Saturday night, The Hardrocker men’s basketball team had a lead early and were able to maintain it, leading wire-to-wire in a 70-58 victory over Adams State.
The South Dakota Mines Women’s basketball team could not contend with the pressure defense of Adams State and fell in part due to a 4-point second quarter.
Adams St picked up the 66-45 win after the Grizzlies outscored the Hardrockers 20-4 in the second quarter.
