The Yellow Jackets defeated University of Colorado-Colorado Springs 67-56.
John Shanklin and Ronnail Tape wach posted career high scoring nights as the two helped lead BHSU in the win.
Elsewhere, the BHSU women dropped a hard fought 63-57 battle to UCCS.
Meanwhile, the South Dakota Mines men’s basketball team finished up their opening weekend of RMAC play with a 81-64 win over Regis University.
The South Dakota Mines’ women basketball team dropped their matchup with the Rangers by the score of 79-50.
