PUEBLO, Colo. – Black Hills State football made a push in the fourth quarter, but couldn’t complete the comeback as they fell to the Thunderwolves, 19-16 on Saturday afternoon at the CSU Pueblo Thunderbowl.
Kielar Harpham led the team in receiving, scoring a touchdown on six catches for 88 yards.
Matthew Collier scored a touchdown on the ground, rushing for 50 yards on 15 attempts. Nolan Susel added 64 yards on 10 rushing attempts as the Yellow Jackets totaled 153 yards on the ground compared to CSU Pueblo’s 118 yards.
Meanwhile, the South Dakota Mines Hardrockers dropped their Saturday game to Chadron.
The Eagles handed the Rockers’ their first loss of the season 31-20.
