College Hoops – BHSU drops road contest to MSU Denver

DENVER, Colo. – The Black Hills State University men’s basketball team (11-11, 9-7 RMAC) fell to the Roadrunners of MSU Denver (15-7, 9-7 RMAC) inside the Auraria Event Center Saturday night, 75-58, to conclude a trip to the Denver metro in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) action.

Caelin Hearne led the offensive attack with 19 points on the game.

The Black Hills State University women’s basketball team (14-6, 11-5 RMAC) completes the weekend sweep in the Denver metro area with a 71-60 road win against the MSU Denver Roadrunners (6-15, 5-11 RMAC), as the Yellow Jackets complete the season sweep of the Roadrunners and remains in the top half of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) standings.

In other action Saturday, the South Dakota Mines men dropped a 75-61 game to the Colorado School of Mines. The Lady Hardrockers also dropped their game to the Orediggers 58 to 53.
