RAPID CITY, S.D. — The South Dakota Mines men’s basketball team defeated the Colorado State University Pueblo Thunderwolves, 80-74, Tuesday night at Goodell Gymnasium.
Three Hardrockers finished the game with double digit scoring. Alejandro Rama led the way with 21 points, shooting 8-15 from the floor. Brevin Walter turned in a solid performance with 17 points and Brannagh Walsh added 11. The Rockers shot 50 percent (11-22) from three-point land and 49.2 percent (29-59) from the floor.

The South Dakota Mines women’s basketball team earned a hard-fought win over the Colorado State University Pueblo Thunderwolves, 73-65, at Goodell Gymnasium on Tuesday night.
The Rockers Ryan Weiss led all scorers with 27 points. Weiss was 9-15 from the floor including 4-8 behind the three-point arc. Naomi Hidalgo had 12 points and 10 total rebounds, while Bailey Johnson scored 10 on the night.
The T-Wolves had four players in double digits for scoring with Sydni Williams leading CSUP with 22 points.
