DURANGO, Colo. – Black Hills State volleyball lost to Fort Lewis College in five sets Saturday afternoon.
The Yellow Jackets lost set one (25-19), won set two (25-13), won set three (26-24), lost set four (25-20), and lost set five 15-11.
Madison Hoopman led the Yellow Jackets in kills recording 23, just shy of her career best 25.
Karly Marx was the assist leader for the Yellow Jackets with 48 assists.
Haedyn Rohoades led BHSU on the defensive side of the ball with 18 digs.

GUNNISON, CO – The South Dakota Mines volleyball team was put in the position to need to mount a comeback for the second straight night, and for the second straight night, they put forth a valiant effort but were unable to finish it off.
The Hardrockers were in a battle from the beginning with Western Colorado on Saturday afternoon, with the first set being tightly contested, the second, third, and fifth each going to extra points.
Set scores were 25-21, 28-30, 25-27, 25-14, 14-16.
