COVID-19 Leads to postponement of Sturgis VB and Soccer this week

STURGIS, S.D. – All Sturgis Scooper volleyball and soccer games scheduled for this week have been postponed due to COVID-19 cases among players.

The postponements were announced on Monday.

Athletic Director Todd stated “We just felt like that was the prudent thing to do.”

Sturgis volleyball had games scheduled for Tuesday night, September 15 against Rapid City Stevens and on Thursday, September 17 at Hill City.

Palmer told KBHB Sports those games are being rescheduled.

Sturgis Soccer is rescheduling games versus Spearfish and Belle Fourche.
