COVID-19 Report for Tuesday – No new deaths, hospitalizations decline

PIERRE, S.D. – State health officials reported 433 new cases of COVID-19 in their Tuesday report. Today’s report includes numbers from the weekend.

Active cases have dropped to 11,283. The number of people hospitalized dropped ten from Monday to 249 Tuesday.

No new deaths were reported today.

Across the Black Hills area, there were 73 new cases out of Pennington  County, Lawrence County reported 40, Meade County had 16,  Custer County listed 8, Butte and Fall River County each had 4 and Oglala Lakota County reported 15.
