Crash on I-90 near Wall kills one person

RAPID CITY, S.D. –  The South Dakota Highway Patrol says one person has died from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle crash Saturday, 13 miles east of Wall, S.D.

The name of the person involved has not been released pending notification of family members.

Preliminary crash information indicates a 2014 Nissan Titan pickup truck was traveling westbound on I 90 near mile marker 123. The Nissan left it’s lane to the right, overcorrected to the left, and went into the median.  When it entered the median the truck rolled over and the driver was ejected from the vehicle.

The 26-year-old male driver of the Nissan Titan sustained fatal injuries and was deceased at the scene.

He was not wearing a seatbelt.

South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.
