DICKINSON, N.D. – Sturgis Post 33 held a 2-1 lead heading into the seventh inning, but couldn’t keep Crookston from scoring two runs in the bottom half of the final inning as the Titans dropped a 3-2 game Sunday.
Evan Stroud picthed 6.1 good innings for the Titans, striking out 5 before being replaced by Dustin Alan.
Kain Peters had 2 hits to help lead Sturgis. David Anderson and Gage Murphey accounted for the two Sturgis R.B.I.
Sturgis wraps up the regular season with a doubleheader at Spearfish on Tuesday.
