Cross Country – Pair of Rapid City Stevens runner win RC Invite

RAPID CITY, S.D. – A pair of runners from Rapid City Stevens won the Rapid City Invitational Cross Country Meet Friday.

Simeon Birnbaum and Brionna Holso finished at the top of their respective classes.

Birnbaum led the boys side in 15:30.24, while Holso paced the girls in 18:46.76.

Winning second place in the boys race was Brady Korsmo of Bismarck and Sawyer Clarkson of Belle Fourche was third. Top placing Sturgis Scooper was Deron Graf in 20th.

Winning second place in the girls race was Bayla Weigel of Bismarck and Peyton VanDeest of Spearfish was third.

Top placing Sturgis Scooper was Brinna Sheldon in 21st.
