PIERRE, S.D. – South Dakota’s Division of Criminal Investigation is leading the investigation into the death of a 32-year-old man that occurred Thursday afternoon in Pierre.
At about 5 p.m., law enforcement responded to a call of a vehicle driving erratically on Fourth Street. It also was reported that the driver was brandishing a firearm.

No foul play is suspected. Law enforcement was not on scene when the driver apparently took his own life.
