DEADWOOD — The Deadwood City Commission has approved a study designed to help city officials identify the best location for a new parking structure.
Currently, the city has 10 parking facilities, followed by a number of parking spaces associated with each.
Deadwood Planning Administrator Jeramy Russell says the $22,500 study will help with the development of a future master parking plan.
He says a recent meeting with consultants went well and that he asked where they felt the best location would be.
The study is expected to begin this week.
