DEADWOOD, S.D. – Fire crews in Deadwood responded to a structure fire early Friday morning.
Fire officials say they were called at approximately 0217a.m. to a working structure fire at 476 Willams Street.
Once on scene, crews found a free burning fire coming from the roof of the structure. Fire crews spent 6 hours working the fire.
Smoke alarms were working at the time, alerting the occupants inside, who got out safely.
One firefighter received minor injuries.
Cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
