Deadwood Police investigating bomb threat.

DEADWOOD, S.D. – Police in Deadwood are investigating a Sunday afternoon bomb threat at a local casino.

Police say just after 3:00 p.m., they responded to the Deadwood Mountain Grand for a reported bomb threat. Police and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office worked to evacuate the building.

After a long, in-depth investigation, it was determined there were no signs of bombs or bomb material in or around the property.

Police say at this time, there is no threat to the local residence, visitors and patrons of the Deadwood Mountain Grand.

The incident remains under investigation.
