RAPID CITY, S.D. – Jamie Smith, who is challenging incumbent Kristi Noem and Libertarian Tracey Quint for Governor, stopped in Rapid City for a meet and greet at the old Storybook Island Shelter on Canyon Lake Drive last night.
Smith was asked what he feels makes Governor Noem vulnerable in her re-election bid.
Smith says he wants to focus on helping people feel welcome in the state and says safe, affordable childcare is a big problem.
Smith says he is listening to the voters.
Smith has been on a whirlwind tour of the state, and has been hitting spots across Western South Dakota the past couple of weeks.
