PIERRE, S.D. – There were 87 new cases of COVID-19 reported by the South Dakota Department of Health in their Friday update.
Of those 87, 10 new positive tests were reported in Pennington County, sending the cumulative total to 546. Pennington has 125 active cases.
Meade County reported an additional new case today, giving the county 50 cumulative and 9 active.
The statewide number of active cases is up 18 today to 832.
Currently, 58 people ae hospitalized; a decrease of 6 from Thursday.
There were no new deaths reported today, leaving the state’s death toll at 97.
