WATERTOWN, S.D. – Deuel won the team title at the State A Gymnastics competition Friday and Deuel athlete Paige Simon won the all around by sweeping first place in every event.
Simon won the vault with a score of 9.575, the floor with a 9.700, the beam with 9.475 and the bars with a 9.375. Simon on the all around title with a total score of 38.125.
Sadie Johnson of Estelline/Hendricks placed second in the all around with a score of 35.125. Madison’s Kylie Krusemark was third.
Deuel won the team title with a score of 139.5. Madison was second with a score of 137.78 and Madison Wagner/Bon Homme was third with 132.43. Hot Springs came in fourth in the team standings.
