Dispose of unused medications on National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

RAPID CITY, SD – The Drug Enforcement Administration is partnering with law enforcement agencies on Saturday, April 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the 20th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

The DEA and its national, tribal and community partners will host  National Prescription Drug Take Back Day  from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rapid City Police Department Public Safety Building.

Individuals can dispose of expired, unused and unwanted prescription medications. This service is free and anonymous, however DEA cannot accept liquids, needles or other sharp objects.

There is also a drop off receptacle available year-round at the RCPD Pubic Safety Building to dispose of unused perscription drugs.
