SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Several area athletes have punched tickets to the semifinals at the State B Wrestling Tournament.
At 106, Logan Graf of Custer heads to the semifinals after a win over Philip’s Kipp Cordes.
At 126, Philip’s Jadyn Coller defeated Parker Geditz for a trip to the semfinals.
At 145, area athletes Brennan Hanes of Custer and Blair Blassius dropped their quarterfinal and will head to the wrestlebacks on Friday.
Custer Irail Griffin lost his quarterfinal at 152 and heads to the wrestlebacks Friday.
Custer’s Micaiah Grace won his 170 pound quarterfinal and heads to the semi’s after a victory over Levi Nightingale.
Newell’s Caleb McGregor dropped his quarterfinal to Gage Carter and will head to the wrestlebacks Friday.
Philip’s Cody Donnelly has a chance at a championship. He heads to the semifinals with a win over Cade Entwistle of McCook Central-Montrose.
Marcus Harkless of Hot Springs is also headed to the semifinals after a win over Quinten Christensen of Woonsocket.
And Rob Lester of Lead-Deadwood dropped his quarterfinal to Joey Hubsch and heads to the wrestlebacks on Friday.
