Douglas Roars Back From Two Set Deficit to Defeat Scoopers

BOX ELDER, S.D. — The Sturgis Scoopers jumped out to a quick two set lead, winning set one by a score of 25-19 and set two 25-23. The Douglas Patriots had an answer as they fed off their hometown crowd, winning the final three sets, 25-17, 25-21 and 15-10 to beat Sturgis three sets to two.

The Scoopers fall to 1-13 on the season and take on Hot Springs on Sept. 28.
