HOT SPRINGS, S.D. – Douglas boys and girls cross country teams won the team titles of the Dave Scott Invitational Cross Country Meet in Hot Springs Tuesday.
The Patriot boys finished with 14 points and the Patriot girls finished with 12.
Bennie Olson of Douglas won the boys race in a time of 19:23.12. Edward Black Hawk of Crazy Horse placed second and Parker Wellnitz of Hay Springs was third.
In the girls race, Kira Ubence of Douglas was first in a time of 17:45.01. Her teammate, Aurora Evans, was second. Little Wound’s Tacha Zephier was third.
