RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City police say a four vehicle accident at the intersection of Omaha Street and West Boulevard Wednesday night has resulted in one arrest.
Police say two occupants of a Ford F-150 pickup truck ran a red light driving southbound and struck a westbound Subaru Forester. Another car involved crashed onto a nearby sidewalk and one of the vehicles involved was a Rapid City Taxi.
As police and the Rapid City Fire Department were helping remove the two passengers from the truck, they found syringes, drug paraphernalia and a loaded gun in the vehicle.
Police found several loaded syringes, a digital scale and several jeweler’s baggies filled with a white crystal substance in the purse of the woman passenger. She was later identified as 31-year-old Sarah Decatur of Rapid City.
When police removed the driver, who later would be identified as 25-year-old Ryan Terrill of Box Elder, a loaded gun fell to the ground, police said. Police also observed a loaded syringe on the driver’s side floorboard when removing Terrill.
Terrill was issued a PR bond for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Commiss
The driver of the Subaru Forester, identified as 26-year-old Cassidy Deneire of Rapid City, was found to be driving under the influence after police investigation. He was issued a PR bond for DUI (2nd Offense). Police continue to investigate the incident.ion of a Felony with a Firearm.
