SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – A state prison offender who escaped earlier this year is now back in custody.
Curtis Milk was arrested in Santa Cruz, CA, on July 15.
Milk did not return to the Rapid City Minimum Center after a work assignment on February 2.
Failure to return to custody after a community assignment is considered second-degree escape, a Class 5 felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
