FORT PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota High School Rodeo Finals are starting to heat up in Fort Pierre.
On Thursday, Landry Haugen, a Sturgis sophomore, added to her gold buckle winning performance in girls cutting with an event-leading time in the pole bending. Haugen also has a second place run in the barrel racing.
Another Sturgis athlete, Clint Donaldson, sits atop the leaderboard in saddle bronc with a 64-point ride Thursday.
