Failed terminator causes power outage in Wall area

WALL, S.D. – West River Electric Association reported an outage Monday morning at their Wall substation.

W.R.E.A. says the outage affected roughty 984 members early Monday morning.

The failed terminator that brought on the outage was reported around 6:46 a.m. and power was restored approximately a half hour later.

In a release, West River says they appreciate everyone’s patience as they worked to get power back on in a safe and timely manner.
