RAPID CITY, S.D. – Authorities are looking into a fatal house fire that occurred near Buffalo Gap over the weekend.
Fire crews responded to the home at around 4:00 a.m. Sunday.
Neighbors say a woman lived there for over a decade with her dog and they are shocked and devastated by this loss within their community.
The identity of the woman is not being released at this time and the cause of the fire is still unknown.
The Custer County Sheriff’s Office says the cause is still under investigation.
