BIG STONE CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Highway Patrol says one person died Saturday night in a motorcycle crash in Big Stone City.
The name of the person involved has not yet been released pending notification of family members.
A 2019 Kawasaki ZX636GKFA was southbound on South Dakota Highway 109 when it went through the intersection with U.S. Highway 12, left the roadway, went into a yard and hit the wall of a garage.
The 20-year-old male driver was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet. He was the only passenger.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
