RAPID CITY, S.D. – Feeding South Dakota will hold their 12th Annual Thanksgiving Meal Distribution on Saturday, November 19.
Individuals and families in need of a Thanksgiving meal to prepare in their own home are invited to come down to the Central States Fairgrounds between 8 and 10:00 a.m.
The event is supported by a $25,000 matching donation gift from Greg and Pam Sans of Sands Wall Systems. Feeding South Dakota says 500 more meals will be given this year over the 2021 amount.
The agency, which commits itself to helping families in need, says the rising cost of groceries have made an impact on South Dakotans facing hunger.
