PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) Board of Economic Development took action at this month’s meeting.
The Greater Huron Development Corporation was approved for a $401,085 Local Infrastructure Improvement Program (LIIP) grant. Funding will be used for construction of a rail siding project, providing rail opportunities for several area businesses.
The City of Hartford was approved for a $206,645 LIIP grant. The funding will be used for infrastructure including water, sewer, storm, and roadways for a new industrial park development in northwest Hartford.
Jitter Joint, LLC of Spearfish was approved for a $32,400 loan through the SD Works program. The funding will assist with the purchase of indoor playground equipment and kitchen equipment.
