HOT SPRINGS, S.D. – The state fire marshall continues to investigate an explosion and fire that killed on person earlier this month near Angostura Reservoir.
The fire was first reported the afternoon of December 2. Authorities say the explosion and resulting fiire killed 71-year-old Deanna Harding. The fire destroyed the home she shared with another person, as well as a garage and several vehicles. The person who was sharing the home with Harding received medical treatment at a Fall River County hospital and released.
It’s not known yet what sparked the explosion as it remains under investigation.
