RAPID CITY, S.D. — Just before midnight Saturday, Rapid City Fire Department responded to reports of a fire at the Price Motel at Waterloo and East North Street.
When they arrived, firefighters saw smoke coming from the roof of the motel, with flames visible in one room. This single room was fully involved, but Rapid City Fire Department crews were able to contain the fire to the room.
No firefighters, civilians or animals suffered injuries as a result of the blaze.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
