BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. — Fire destroyed a home just outside Belle Fourche Monday.
Fire crews were dispatched to 18830 McCoy Road around 11:20 a.m. for a structure fire.
Fire officials say upon arrival, they noticed an active fire on the home’s back deck. It’s not known if the fire started there or inside the home.
The home is considered a total loss.
Firefighters from Belle Fourche, the Nisland-Arpan Volunteer Fire Department, and the Spearfish Fire Department responded.
Cause of the fire is under investigation.
