RAPID CITY, S.D. – Unofficial results are in for Tuesday’s Rapid City Area School Board election.
Winning Area 1 was Deb Baker with 1,314 votes, defeating Natalie Slack with 734.
In Area 2, Breanna Funke defeated incumbent Curt Pochardt and challenger Tatewin Means. Funke garnered 295 votes while Pochardt and Means got 209 and 173 votes respectively.
In Area 3, Gabe Doney with 1,371 votes to 1,082 for Kara Flynn.
And, in Area 7, Kate Thomas was victorious with 397 votes compared to Jennifer Read’s 304 votes and Megan Collier’s 87 votes.
In Box Elder, there was a mayoral race where Larry Larson was reelected to another three year term.
