RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Four suspects in the murder of a 20-year-old Rapid City man all pleaded not guilty on Thursday.
Travis Nelson, Gilbert Reyna, William Long, and Tracy Laughlin are all charged with Aiding and Abetting First-Degree Murder. The charge carries a possible death sentence or life in prison.
They are charged in the death of 20-year-old Jesus Vance, who was found shot to death in a motel room April 9th.
All four are also charged with Aiding and Abetting Aggravated Assault, Second-Degree Kidnapping, and a number of drug-related counts.
Their next court appearance is scheduled for June 9.
