RAPID CITY, S.D. – The fourth round of consolation matches are wrapped up at the State A Wrestling Tournament.
At 106, Korbin Osborn lost his semifinal consolation match to Rayden Zens of Aberdeen Central. Osborn will wrestle Nolan Miles of Brookings for fifth place.
At 113, Josh Hoffman won his consolation semifinal match with a win over Mason Schrempp of Aberdeen Central. He will wrestle Carter Ratcliffe of Harrisburg for third place.
At 126, Logan DeSersa will miss the consolation championship round with a loss to Brock Martin of Aberdeen Central in a 5-2 decision. DeSersa will wrestle for fifth place.
At 132, Kelton Olson won an 8-0 decision over Jacob McCormick of Rapid City Stevens to earn a trip to the third place championship match, where he will take on Kaholor Hindman of Pierre.
At 138, Perry Ketelsen will wrestle for fifth place after a 7-3 decision loss to Hayden Shaffer of Pierre. Ketelsen will wrestle Corter Doney of Stevens for that title.
At 152, Bailey Badwound got a tough 3-1 decision over T.J. Morrison of Rapid City Central to earn a spot in the consolation championship. He will wrestle Logan Serck of Beresford/Alcester-Hudson.
At 160, Tyler Voorhees will wrestle for third place following his semifinal win over Lucas Hofer of Huron.
At 220, Eli Huot of Rapid City Stevens missed the consolation semifinal with a loss to Tristan Cardona of Huron.
