RAPID CITY, S.D. – In Friday Night baseball, Brandon Valley went undefeated, getting two wins – one over Rapid City Central and one over Douglas.
The Lynx rolled past Central 14-4 in their first game. Brandon Valley jumped on the Cobblers early, scoring 6 runs in the top of the first inning. The Lynx then added 2 in the second and 4 in the third to put the game away.
Carson Askdahl led Brandon Valley with 3 hits and 2 RBI’s.
In game two, Brandon Valley shut out Douglas 15-0 in five innings. The Lynx scored runs in every inning with 7 in the first, 2 in the second, one in the third, 2 in the fourth and 3 in the fifth.
Logan Kelling of Brandon Valley had 2 hits and his teammate Nick Hokenstad added 3 RBI’s.
