PIERRE, S.D. – South Dakota health officials reported 184 new cases of COVID-19 Friday with 60 of them listed as probable.
Active cases saw another increase today, up 32 to 2,163.
The number of people hospitalize fell by 5 to 62.
Two new deaths were reported, sending the state’s death toll since the pandemic began to 1,907. The new deaths reported include one man and one woman, both in the 60 – 69 year age group.
Pennington County had 8 new, confirmed cases and 7 probable for a total of 15 Friday.
Meade County had 2 new confirmed cases and one probable case.
Butte and Lawrence County each added one new confirmed case.
Fall River County had 3 new probable cases today and Oglala Lakota had one probable new case.
