STURGIS, S.D. – Parishioners with Believer’s Fellowship Church held a fundraiser Saturday to help raise money in the aftermath of a tragic fire that heavily damaged their place of worship.
The God’s Garden class ages 3-5 from Believers Fellowship Preschool, held a lemonade and baked goods fundraiser to help raise money for their school.
Casey Clement and Bethany Wilson helped organize the event and say they were touched by all the people who stopped by Saturday.
On Sunday, the church held services outside the damaged building in the parking lot.
The church is looking for a vacant building to hold services, but in the meantime, are doing what they can despite the circumstances.
