STURGIS, S.D. – Sturgis Finance Officer Adam Hosch says the March 20-24 sales tax collection was 6-percent lower than at the same time last year.
He delivered the report to the full city council this week.
Hosch also had a gloomy Triple B tax update for March.
Despite the lower numbers, Hosch says they are hoping for better numbers as the summer tourism season kicks in.
